Amazon launched a new section on its forums late last week devoted to discussion of its Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) service. Fulfillment by Amazon enables sellers to warehouse their inventory in an Amazon fulfillment center and let Amazon pick, pack, ship and service them on the seller's behalf. Amazon charges sellers for inventory storage and fulfillment depending on the type of item and weight and type of order (Amazon.com or non-Amazon.com order). The FBA program launched beta in September 2006.
