eBay's recently acquired Skype subsidiary made a number of announcements at the Consumer Electronics Show going on this week in Las Vegas (http://www.cesweb.org). Skype will also make an announcement today (January 4) at the show regarding a collaboration with Netgear on a new product. eBay acquired the Internet communications company in October and has since made deals with retailer RadioShack and manufacturer Motorola. This week, Skype announced deals with Panasonic, which will develop cordless telephones to interface directly with Skype, and Kodak, which introduced Kodak Photo Voice, "the first Skype certified online photo sharing experience" (http://www.kodakgallery.com/photovoice), as well as four other deals. http://www.skype.com/company/news/2006/skype_ces.html
