eBay is running a sweepstakes to encourage top sellers to use its new auction management tool. PowerSellers who sign up for a free 30-day trial of Selling Manager Pro or an eBay Store will be entered into the sweepstakes. Five Grand-Prize winners will win a day at eBay headquarters in San Jose; other prizes include "PowerSeller Pajamas." http://www.ebay.com/day_at_ebay

While eBay has offered basic listing tools for years, the launch of Selling Manager Pro last month put it in direct competition with its own partners, who pay significant listing fees to use eBay's API (http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abu/y202/m09/abu0079/s02).

Selling Manager Pro costs users $15.99/month. http://www.auctionbytes.com/cab/abn/y03/m08/i20/s02
