When an eBay seller listed an auction item as "Playstation 2 Original Box And Receipt," an unfortunate bidder discovered he had purchased an empty box for $425. A newspaper in the U.K. picked up the story http://www.theregister.co.uk/content/6/16450.html and it was the subject of several threads in the AuctionBytes chat forum. http://www.auctionbytes.com/bin/messagebbs/view.pl At publication time, there were still several empty Playstation boxes for sale on eBay, with one reaching $450.
