ProStores is an eBay Company that enable small- and medium-sized businesses to sell products and services online. It provides merchants with everything they need to set up, design, and manage a customizable virtual storefront at their own Internet domain. The product is based on StoreSense, an award-winning ecommerce software originally created by Kurant in 1998. eBay acquired Kurant and StoreSense, and in June 2005, re-launched as ProStores. ProStores does not charge eCommerce merchants a general setup fee. There are two fees charged to all ProStores eCommerce merchants: a monthly Subscription Fee (from $29.95 - $59.95) and a monthly Successful Transaction Fee of 0.5 percent.
