eBay Sellers Locked Out This Morning
By: Ina Steiner
eBay users are having major problems this morning, and sellers are reporting they're locked out of Seller Hub, the company's new tech backbone.
EcommerceBytes readers began reporting the problem on Ecommerce EKG
early this morning. "We can momentarily go to the My eBay page but then it dumps out with the following message: "Something went wrong. We're sorry. If you want to start over, go to the homepage. If you're stuck, let us help you
UK publication Express
wrote about the issue in an article titled, "eBay DOWN: Popular online auction site NOT WORKING across the UK," where it wrote, "EBAY is experiencing an outage – creating issues for buyers and sellers across the UK trying to access the popular auction site, users have reported."
The publication pointed to this tweet
from @AskeBay that confirmed the site was having problems: "We received reports from users in the UK having issues accessing the site. We are currently working to resolve this ASAP."
The eBay Status Board shows a problem with "Listing" functionality - clicking through calls up this alert
